Summary
Generative AI is reshaping how tech companies prevent and respond to online child sexual exploitation and abuse.
As companies develop new tools, safety practices, and reporting approaches for generative AI, clear and consistent transparency reporting can help build trust, strengthen accountability, and support informed engagement across stakeholders.
This resource supports generative AI model developers in applying the Tech Coalition’s Trust Framework to their child safety transparency reporting. It maps generative AI considerations to the Trust framework’s three reporting categories:
- Policies & practices: How companies define, govern, and communicate their child safety commitments for generative AI
- Processes & systems: How companies design, implement, test, and improve systems to prevent, detect, and respond to OCSEA-related risks
- Outcomes: How companies report on the results, learnings, and impacts of their child safety efforts, where appropriate and feasible
