Membership services

Being part of the Tech Coalition means more than joining a network – it means access to tailored, high-value services that help your teams stay ahead of child safety threats, build effective programs, and make measurable progress.

Working groups

No company is alone in the fight to keep children safe online. Tech Coalition members come together through working groups to tackle real-world child safety challenges — from developing foundational safety programs to responding to emerging threats.

These trusted, member-led spaces give trust and safety professionals a forum to exchange experiences, share solutions, and learn from one another. The insights gained become shared resources, advancing vital progress across the industry.

Tech innovation

We help members strengthen detection and prevention capabilities by:

  • Supporting adoption of proven tools like perceptual hashing and classifiers
  • Facilitating interoperability (e.g., Video Hash Project) and licensing (e.g., PhotoDNA)
  • Sharing lessons from both success and failure
  • Running collaborative hackathons and knowledge exchanges

Our Lantern program enables cross-platform signal sharing, helping identify threats that might otherwise go undetected in isolation, strengthening collective response.

Resources

Our members carry a heavy burden protecting children online. Our resources help lighten the load.

Drawing on insights from across the industry, our tools help members draft policies, implement interventions, and act with confidence.

Members gain access to our exclusive online Member Resource Center, a library of practical guidance and tools including a starter kit, sample policies, and resources on everything from cybertip reporting and deterrence messaging to staff wellness and prevention strategies.

Specialized toolkits include the Financial Sextortion Prevention Toolkit, Generative AI OCSEA Reporting Template, and CSAM Reporting Guidance for Non-US Jurisdictions.

Briefings

Access member-only briefing papers covering global legislation, regulatory developments, and sector trends relevant to online child safety. In partnership with a leading global law firm, we deliver policy updates through written briefings and webinars. These resources are especially valuable for members without dedicated legal teams, offering timely insights to help navigate evolving compliance requirements.

We also provide technology briefings on topics like Generative AI, equipping members with deeper insight into emerging risks. These sessions help teams stay proactive, embed safety by design, and develop effective solutions to protect children online.

Mentorship

Our peer mentorship service connects members with experienced professionals who’ve tackled similar trust and safety challenges — from building teams to launching new tools. Support is tailored to individual needs, ranging from one-off conversations to ongoing check-ins over several months.

Benchmarking

Receive an independent, tailored assessment of your current child safety approach with actionable milestones to guide improvements. Annual anonymized surveys track progress across the membership, offering valuable benchmarking insights.

Events

Tech Coalition events connect members with the people, insights, and ideas shaping the fight against online child sexual exploitation and abuse.

Through multi-stakeholder forums, expert webinars, and global legislative briefings, members stay ahead of emerging risks, build trusted relationships, and help drive collective solutions that make a real-world impact.

Previous engagements include: TrustCon, regional Generative AI briefings, and global summits on financial sextortion.

Public affairs

We help amplify industry insights in global policy discussions — not by speaking for members, but by ensuring external stakeholders are aware of the challenges of preventing and disrupting online child sexual exploitation and abuse and the voluntary steps industry is taking to address those challenges.

Through regular engagement governments, regulators, and civil society, we build shared understanding, highlight operational realities, and foster informed policy discussions.

This creates space for your company’s efforts to be recognized and strengthens your credibility with key stakeholders.
